I recently transitioned over to full-time freelance photography, a decision I am incredibly grateful to have been able to make. I’ve been adjusting to the huge change over these past few weeks, and have also slowly been developing a new product I am genuinely excited to tell you about today!

Over time, I’ve carved out a little niche for myself with my dreamy Appalachian landscape images. Though I do shoot landscapes across the world, Appalachia has become my specialty simply because it is my home and, in these pandemic times, it’s also where I travel the most. This region feels to be a part of who I am as my connection to these ancient mountain landscapes has grown and deepened over time. Since I have a very large catalog of images of Appalachia, I wanted to dig in and find a new and fresh presentation of my work with a broad appeal. I totally get that most of us don’t want to invest large sums of money in fine art imagery for our homes, so I wanted to come up with a way of sharing my images in a way that is accessible in terms of price and size, and appeals to those of us that love the outdoors, love the Appalachian region, and appreciate stunning photography that showcases all the beauty we have here. I believe Appalachian Dreams fits the bill perfectly!

This is a series of 15 “dreams” in the form of high quality 18” x 24” posters. Each dream presents a different Appalachian landscape, photographed by me in my signature style, and is accompanied by my own stream-of-consciousness, four line description of the dream. Locations that will be available in the initial launch span Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, with more to come down the line. Appalachia is prone to getting a bad rap in so many ways, and common perceptions of this region often place the focus on the negatives rather than the positives. These posters dispel the myths, highlight the incredible natural landscapes to be found here, and bring ALL the beauty!!

I’ll be offering free standard shipping within the United States for a limited time. The standard product comes unsigned, but if you’d like it signed, there will even be an option to add that during checkout if you purchase from my website (this option will not be available in stores). Go with soft, dreamy images or bolder, punchier ones - the choice is yours to make. These are standard size, so will fit off-the-shelf frames from Walmart, Michael’s, Target, etc.
