The Art of Fog
I think it’s safe to say that foggy landscapes are my muse. I spend a lot of time thinking and dreaming about these sorts of scenes and as a result much of my time out in nature is spent in fog. I never seem to grow tired of it, although I came close during a month spent camping up in Acadia National Park when a sea fog descended on the region and only lifted once or twice during the entire month! Not only does fog provide a certain mood and mystery to my images, it also offers me a tangible feeling of general wellbeing as well as a deep sense of peace.
If you’re interested to learn more about how I see, experience, and photograph fog, I recommend my newest eBook The Art of Fog, and you can read more about it just to the right.
Wishing you wispy veils and vaporous moods!
