Arctic Reverie

Arctic Reverie is born of two expeditions to Greenland - one by land on the west coast, and another by sea on the remote east coast. Given the chance, I’d return here in a heartbeat - the ice here is special, taking on some wonderfully poetic shapes.

With its vast, untouched wilderness and breathtaking icy landscapes, Greenland is a dream destination for photographers seeking to capture the raw beauty of nature. As a child, flying over Greenland on trips back and forth to Europe was a magical experience, gazing down upon a world of sparkling glaciers and rugged mountains, never imagining that one day I would return with a camera in hand. From the towering icebergs of Ilulissat Icefjord to the serene, remote fjords of East Greenland, every corner of this Arctic wonderland offers a new opportunity for photographic exploration. The ever-changing light and preposterous shapes of the ice add an ethereal quality to every shot. Greenland is not just a destination; it's a photographic journey into the heart of the Arctic.
